I was in Zest Harbourside last Thursday night and enjoyed the Salmon!
What I really appreciated was the number of times I was asked by staff and as we paid by Ashley "have you enjoyed your meals" - Nice touch and appreciated

Looking forward to the C2C and eating with you the night before, your website takes a really long time to load however, suggest you need greater bandwidth, see you tomorrow. Stu

Hi, we just wanted to say thanks for the recipes on the web site. As Zest regulars and keen amateur cooks it's nice to try out some of the dishes we've been enjoying over the last few years.
Ever thought of running one of those Master classes for us keen foodies?

Thanks for your message Alan and Karen,
It has been a real dream of ours to have our own cookery school for quite some time now. We're happy to report that we have found a suitable premises. The downside is that we feel it will take us maybe a year or two until we are in a position to have it all up and running.
However, if you'll be patient with us we'd be happy to do those master classes!
Once we have any details, we'll post them on the website.

We came in the other day for lunch - just wanted to say that we were really impressed, food was great and the service was fantastic, the waitress even bought over a bowl of water and some snacks for the dog! Not that impressed with whitehaven itself but the cafe definitely made it worth the visit.

My sister Sheila works in Tesco at the deli counter, she phoned me and gave me your website details and told me of your "sticky toffee pudding" as she knows its my favourite dessert. I printed it off and I will try it tomorrow and let you know what I think.
I now live in Fife, Scotland so your now becoming international. (fame at last)
PS great site well done!

We were in Zest Harbourside today and as always the food was delicious!! Already looking forward to our visit to the restaurant later on in the year. What would we do without Zest!!! I would love to see the recipe for your lemon curd cheesecake and also the warm scotch eggs that you used to do in the restaurant - my favourite! Website is ace, well done.

We had lunch at Zest Harbourside on Sunday 5th
and as I'm feeling quite hungry at the moment was thinking about the fish stew I had.
It was gorgeous, I could eat it again right now ! (and the rhubarb & vanilla cheesecake to follow) The next time I visit Whitehaven, it will only be to eat in Zests again ! I'm going to work my way down the menu.

Love the website and especially the recipe section, although I am now hungry LOL. I was in on Saturday and disappointed to find that the garlic lamb had been ousted, so I had to try the Red Red Wine Venison which is fantastic, now officially my favourite dish. Lovely, can we have the recipe soon??? Thanks

I've eaten here almost every Thursday since last November and I have to say the atmosphere is excellent, the food fantastic and the staff offer the best service i've known outside of Canada special mention has to go to Becca who always has my coffee on the table the moment I walk in. 6 stars out of 5.

We ate at the harbourside at the start of our C2C cycling holiday a couple of weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed the food - what a great menu. We nearly didn't come in though as the outside doesn't indicate at all what a gem of a place lies inside. Thanks!

Hi, my wife & I visited zest on the harbour side, last Friday during the festival. As you would expect it was busy and this can lead to short tempers, not the guy on the gate ! I think he was called Ashley, this employee was tremendous, we were seated right opposite him and spent approx 4 hours there, he was really pleasant to everybody right from the 1st minute through until we left, any visitors to the area could only have left thinking what a friendly town, he acted as a real ambassador not only for your restaurant but for us all. Well done Ashley what an employee, not sure if you have employee of the month/year if you did he would take some beating. keep up the good work, Regards Mike
