Few people believe that these beauties are landed in Whitehaven.  Although langoustine is not the English name for this magnificent shellfish, it is the one most commonly used in the restaurant trade to mean the Dublin bay prawn.  Infact, when Ricky picks them up he just asks for prawns.

When we get them, we serve them fresh (so fresh the waitresses are freaked out that we show them live stuff) and simply prepared which lets their goodness speak for itself.  Don't miss your chance to get hold of these gems of the sea this bank holiday weekend only.

Locally caught Whitehaven langoustine in garlic butter £7.95
